Learn Critical Care. Think Like an Intensivist.
Critical care medicine is not learned from textbooks alone. It requires an understanding of physiology, clinical assessment, technology, decision-making and the ability to integrate multiple pieces of information at the bedside.
What You Will Master:
- Shock & Hypotension: Rapid bedside differentiation between cardiogenic, hypovolaemic, distributive, and obstructive shock.
- Right Ventricle (RV) Failure & TAPSE: Identifying acute cor pulmonale, RV strain, and pulmonary hypertension.
- Left Ventricle (LV) Dysfunction: Ejection fraction estimation, regional wall motion abnormalities, and diastolic dysfunction.
- Fluid Responsiveness: IVC collapsibility/distensibility, VTI variation, and passive leg raise test integration.
- Bedside Protocol: High-yield ultrasound algorithms designed specifically for real ICU scenarios.
Course Director: Dr. Diksha Gaur — Associate Consultant, Critical Care Medicine & Super-Specialist Intensivist, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi.
